Product Development Engineer - Japanese

1. Engineering Documentation Management

- Prepare, update, and maintain technical documentation for all products, including BOM (Bill of Materials), ECN (Engineering Change Notice), DN, and EER.

2. Engineering Activities and Product Development

• Conduct product evaluations and testing throughout the EVT, DVT, and MVT stages.

• Provide engineering support to customers and evaluate alternative suppliers or sourcing options.

• Analyze design-related issues and recommend appropriate solutions.

• Coordinate product technology transfer to MFE, QA, PUR, and Production departments.

• Implement project activities and ensure timely completion in accordance with project schedules.

3. Manufacturing Engineering Support

• Provide technical support in handling MRB-related issues.

• Assist with failure analysis and root cause identification.

• Support supply chain management activities.

• Provide assistance with activities related to IFICA and SCCAS.

4. Workplace and Equipment Safety

- Ensure that working processes, machinery, equipment, and tools are properly designed and operated in compliance with applicable safety standards.

5. Safety Compliance

- Strictly adhere to all company policies, procedures, and occupational health and safety requirements.

• Japanese language proficiency equivalent to JLPT N2 or above; basic English communication skills.

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field.

• Relevant experience in a similar position within EMS (Electronics Manufacturing Services) factories. Candidates with hands-on experience in PCBA (Printed Circuit Board Assembly) manufacturing are preferred.
