TAPE-OUT/ FOUNDRY ENGINEER

• Execute tape-out schedule: track GDSII hand-off from PD, manage foundry data delivery, confirm photomask placement. 
• Coordinate DRC, LVS, and antenna rule resolution with PD; gatekeep all foundry-required sign-off criteria. 
• Prepare and submit chip data packages: PDK-compliant GDSII, OPC/RET layer tagging, fill-density compliance. 
• Manage ECOs during metal-layer spare preparation and track foundry NPI gate approvals. 
• Interface daily with foundry engineers for WAT data review, parametric lot disposition, and process deviations. 
• Coordinate first-silicon wafer receive, OSAT submission, and initial functional verification of samples.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in EE, Microelectronics, or related field. 
• 5+ years IC tape-out or foundry engineering experience. 
• Solid understanding of CMOS process flow, foundry PDK rules, and GDSII database structure. 
• Experience with DRC/LVS sign-off tools: Synopsys IC Validator, Cadence PVS, or Mentor Calibre. 
• Familiarity with OPC, photomask ordering, and MDP flows. 
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong project-tracking under schedule pressure. 
• Good English and Vietnamese communication skills. 

Nice to Have 

• Direct TSMC, UMC, or SMIC tape-out process experience. 
• Advanced-node tapeout
