CAD ENGINEER

- Lead in mechanical fabrication drawings and interact with vendors - Advanced electro-mechanical product assembly drawings - Aide in ECOs (Engineering Change Orders) to release completed drawings and bills of material. - Implement changes to existing documentation based on input from engineering and the manufacturing groups - Initiate new part number requests in SAP system in support of engineering development programs - Audit bills of material as they are transferred from engineering to manufacturing to ensure all documentation is transferred properly

Required Qualifications - A high school diploma or equivalent - 4+ years of drafting/design experience - Expereince working with SolidWorks - Tolerance stack up analysis, with GD&T background - Ability to interface effectively with engineering and manufacturing groups to implement requested changes to documentation - Experience working within AutoCAD & Microsoft office suite - Excellent written and verbal communications skills Preferred Qualifications - An associates degree - Experience in mechanical design work - Experience with SolidWorks PDM Vault - Experience with metal design - Expereince with design for manufacturing
